This site is a tribute to Colin Frederick Chambers. A Father, a Brother, a Friend.  No matter the role he played he is much loved and will always be remembered.

As the children of Colin, we are asking for donations to two charities that have had a really positive impact on both Dad and his family.  The Royal Marsden, as many will know greatly extended our Dad's life expectation, without The Royal Marsden we are sure to have had far less time to share and spend with Dad.  We wanted to help them prolong the lives of others like our Dad, even a day makes a difference.

Our other chosen charity is St Francis Hospice.  Of course, the hospice were not there for most of Dad's illness, but when they supported us through the last 48 hours of his life, making sure he was comfortable and that we all knew both what to expect and how to help Dad.  Having support at a time like that makes such a difference to a family and the nurses went over and above to help us with one Nurse even changing her shift to stay longer and provide support.  These nurses are irreplaceable not just to the patient but to the family.  Everyone deserves to have their support when the time comes and so we have chosen to support them.
